January 18: Everyday Life and Special Occasion

Hand washed clothes out on fence and bushes to dry.... Then when time to get to bus station, we had to wrap up wet clothes and put in bag... One little boy started to cry as mama said something like... "hurry we must go"... Such confusion for them! Youth are more resilient than adults, thank God...






Marjorie found out a father and son had a birthday yesterday and bought this beautiful cake and candles... I called Freddy Sr and Freddy Jr (10) up and presented to light candles... We sang happy birthday in Spanish and clapped... they made a wish and blew out unlit candles... Everyone clapped and we served about 96 people! What a birthday party to remember, thanks to Marjorie!

I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.
